A pesquisa como aliada nas transforma\u00e7\u00f5es do territ\u00f3rio<\/em><\/p>\n

Gestores de Unidades de Conserva\u00e7\u00e3o (UC), pesquisadores e lideran\u00e7as est\u00e3o articulados na Rede Cont\u00ednuo Cantareira, uma iniciativa da Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Florestal, do Governo do Estado de S\u00e3o Paulo e do IP\u00ca \u2013 Instituto de Pesquisas Ecol\u00f3gicas, com o objetivo de fomentar a pesquisa de aplica\u00e7\u00e3o pr\u00e1tica para atender \u00e0s necessidades do Cont\u00ednuo. O grupo est\u00e1 aberto \u00e0 participa\u00e7\u00e3o de novos membros que desenvolvam pesquisas e\/ou realizem trabalhos na regi\u00e3o<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Entre os marcos da forma\u00e7\u00e3o da rede est\u00e1 o comprometimento dos participantes do 1\u00b0 Simp\u00f3sio T\u00e9cnico-Cient\u00edfico do Continuum Cantareira realizado em outubro de 2019, em Nazar\u00e9 Paulista<\/a>. A iniciativa da Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Florestal em parceria com o IP\u00ca contou com apoio do Instituto Florestal, da ESCAS \u2013 Escola Superior de Conserva\u00e7\u00e3o Ambiental e Sustentabilidade e do Projeto Semeando \u00c1gua. A partir das discuss\u00f5es e do material produzido e apresentado pelos Grupos de Trabalho, a organiza\u00e7\u00e3o do Simp\u00f3sio elaborou dois documentos (dispon\u00edveis logo abaixo) que revelam as estrat\u00e9gias identificadas com potencial para estimular o desenvolvimento de pesquisas-chave para o Cont\u00ednuo Cantareira.<\/p>\n

O Sistema de \u00c1reas Protegidas do Cont\u00ednuo Cantareira abrange os Parques Estaduais Cantareira, ltaberaba e ltapetinga, o Monumento Natural Pedra Grande, a Floresta Estadual Guarulhos e as \u00c1reas de Prote\u00e7\u00e3o Ambiental Sistema Cantareira e Represa Bairro da Usina.<\/p>\n
